This is an ‘html-only’ version of Scribblings with no database behind it. This means it is not possible to search it. I am working on a new version with which I am hoping to eventually put back into the main site. The new version is here but please note that there is no link directly back to the main site.

The difficulty of peeing on your foot

I have a predilection for the slightly bizarre and when I came across a web page explaining the difficulty of peeing on your foot1 I couldn’t resist sharing it. I have no idea who wrote it but whoever it was wanted to do it in an attempt to cure the said foot of athelete’s foot. They’d tried out a remedy involving iodine and ammonia, found it hurt too much and decided to try this other method instead. Quite why they didn’t just head off down to the chemist and buy one of the myriad of athelete’s foot powders available is beyond my understanding.

1 The piece was written by a man. I imagine that women will not find it quite so difficult.

An apology

Since moving the site to a new server Scribblings is not as easy to find your way around as it used to be. It used to depend on a script and a database on the server but is currently served as ‘flat html’.

I have some ideas about how to make it a bit easier but they depend on writing another script. I hope to get around to it ‘eventually’.
