This is an ‘html-only’ version of Scribblings with no database behind it. This means it is not possible to search it. I am working on a new version with which I am hoping to eventually put back into the main site. The new version is here but please note that there is no link directly back to the main site.

Chicken fancier hangs himself.
I don’t know how I missed this one but Pravda-online reported last week that a 50 year old man in Zambia killed himself after his wife caught him having sex with a chicken.
Apparently, the man’s wife heard strange noises, went to investigate and found her husband shagging the chicken. He got annoyed about this because he hadn’t finished so he tried to kill her. She ran off to the neighbours to get help.
Once the deed was revealed the man hung himself and the neighbours killed the hen. Did they possibly think it had led him on?
All a bit tragic really. I have no idea whether it’s really true though I suppose it’s easier than shagging a sheep; at least you don’t need to find your wellies first.
An apology
Since moving the site to a new server Scribblings is not as easy to find your way around as it used to be. It used to depend on a script and a database on the server but is currently served as ‘flat html’.
I have some ideas about how to make it a bit easier but they depend on writing another script. I hope to get around to it ‘eventually’.
