Why does orange juice always help me feel better? And why do I always forget that it does?
I’ve spent the past few days in a daze caused largely by drinking huge amounts of caffeine while I’ve been writing the software which runs this weblog. I woke up this morning (it was almost the afternoon really) feeling as if someone had been scooping my brain out like ice cream. So what did I do? I drank more caffeine which made me feel worse. So I drank some more.
It was only after an hour or so that I pulled the orange juice out of the fridge and poured myself a large glass. Within ten minutes I felt an awful lot better.
Why didn’t I remember to do that when I first got out of bed?
