Floods are God’s judgement

According to a number of Church of England bishops the floods which have laid waste to parts of England in recent weeks are God’s judgement on society for being immoral, greedy and taking little notice of him very much these days. And here’s me thinking they were down to the strange physics of the turbulent atmosphere. Silly me. I must remember to invoke God myself in future whenever something happens which smacks of vengance.
