Most of us who are vaguely interested may already know that the Googol is a pretty big number1.
Until I read this article on The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy site I hadn’t realised just how big it was though.
The article tries to put it into perspective by working out just how big a space would be filled by a Googol of those little silver balls you often find on fairy cakes. It’s big. Very big.
