The Register is reporting that Reuters is reporting (and if that’s not secondhand I don’t know what is) that the airport board in Salt Lake City, Utah has decided to ban Santa Claus from flying low over the city on Christmas Eve.
Apparently, there was some sort of provision in the relevant ordnance which exempted Father Christmas from a ban on flying below 2000 feet. The board thinks removing Santa’s exemption is
modern and professional.
Poor Santa. Poor kids.
