According to Ananova Japanese priests have won a partial victory against a sweet company in Nara, western Japan. The company was selling sweets described as being From the nose of the Great Buddha. The sweet packets carry a picture of Buddha picking his nose.
The priests have managed to prevent the name being registered as a trademark but they haven’t been able to stop the sale of the sweets to tourists who visit Nara to see the giant Buddha which lives there.
